ISPM-15

ISPM-15 (regulation of wood packaging material in international trade), is the regulation used in relation to the movement of solid wood packaging products to other countries around the world.

These products include:

– Packing cases
– boxes and crates
– Drums
– Pallets (including collars and other load boards)
– Loose dunnage

 These products must be treated to meet ISPM-15 regulations in order to leave the UK and be sent to other countries (including Northern Ireland). The most common method is heat treatment (HT).
